Sweet Mango Cake

Mango is a really common frut here in Shanghai,  you can find many different kind, size and taste, more or less sweet.

For this receipt i choose the small yellow mango sold in every street market or Carrefour (jia le fu).

150 G of flour

50 G OF sugar

3 eggs

70 G of butter

3 mangos

50 CL of milk or 2 yogurts

backing powder

Honey

  • Mix the suggar, eggs, butter and milk
  • Add the flour and the backing powder
  • Cut mango in small dices
  • Incorporate the mango
  • Pour in a well buttered cake mould
  • To customize the cake, add some dices of mango on the top and honey with a spoon
  • Charge 40  mn with TH 7/8 (210°C)

    Enjoy this cake with a tea or a glass of milk.
